Read the Bible in 90 days???
One of my daily resolutions is to grow closer to GOD. So I have decided to Join Amy over @ www.momstoolbox.com in the challenge of reading the Bible in 30 days. I think the real challenge will be making the time each day to read and focus in on GOD. Amy estimates that each days reading of 12 pages will take about an hour and I will add at least another 1/2 hour for re-reading passages that I do not understand, prayer and just sitting still to listen to God.....you know what i better add at least another hour... LOL
I think the key to my success will be to have a set time each day. For the first week that set time will be @ 7am in the morning. I will read my passages in the morning before the daycare kids arrive.
I will try to update the blog on my journey and hope you will joined me.
Everyone reading this blog please pray for my success.

In the last 3 years we have been enjoi-ing a wonderful christmas breakfast prepared by Wanakee . This years meal included apple chicken patties {Yum-O}, beef bacon & french toast. It was sooooo oh oh oh oooo scrmptious.
Of course there are no pictures because we were tooo busy eating!!! LOL
Thanksgiving Apple Pie contest
I absolutely love Thanksgiving it is one of my favorite holidays. I enjoy this time with my family very much. I especially love eating my mom's macaroni & cheese.
We decided to do something a little different this year and have an apple pie contest. The contestants included my mom, my aunt Angie, my sister Polly and myself. The pies were set out one by one and judged based on appearance, taste and consistency.
Our taste buds were really in for a "treat" this day. LOL!!!
Polly's apple pie was made on the stove top and was very juicy but her crust was a little soggy but still taste good. My mother's pie looked the best but it had a very weird consistency......because she added trailmix......that's right i said TRAILMIX..... URGH!!!! Both Angie and myself made traditionally style pies however Angie's was a little dry.......and I was crowned the APPLE PIE QUEEN all bow before my juicy apple pie goodness bwhaaa haaa!!!!.
***Special thanks to Terrance, Wanakee, Angie's daughter in law (sorry i forgot her name) & Taj
for Crowning Me Queen of Apple Pie-dom!!***
